Dedication Page

I would like to dedicate this page to retired Army Ranger Ranger Rick" F. Tscherne. This will be the page that I will be collecting stuff on the military. If you have a good idea for something email it to me (I will post a link to my email at the end of the paragraph). I will see if he will let me take some items from his web site (the link to his site is here Special Links) and post it here. You can also submit a question to me via email. This goes to Ranger Rick: If you want me to post any thing you want here just email it to me and I will get to it ASAP, just think of it as my way of thanking you for serving in our countries armed forces.

Ranger Rick I have a question- have you ever driven one of these?

Ranger Rick's Answer-NOPE, THAT'S A NON-RANGER/NON-INFANTRY VEHICLE NICK-NAMED A "GAMA-GOAT." USED MOSTLY BACK IN THE 1960s & 70s BY ARMY ENGINEERS, MORTAR CREWS, MECHANICS, AND THOSE IN SUPPORTING INFANTRY ROLLS. THOUGH I HAVE RODE IN THEM ONCE OR TWICE...THEY ARE AND WERE NOT COMFORTABLE IN THE FRONT SEAT NOR IN THE BACK NEITHER. FROM WHAT I REMEMBER, THESE VEHICLES WERE NOT ONLY GAS GUZZLERS, BUT YOU COULD ONLY CARRY VERY LITTLE STUFF IN THE BACK TOO WHICH IS WHY THEY DIDN'T LAST VERY LONG IN THE ARMY INVENTORY.
